An interview with David and Judy.
Dear Prayer Partners,
The next two weeks will be very busy for us. We have two teams here at present. One team will be hosting VBS in two different locations and the other will be traveling up the mountain each day doing clinic as well as evangelism.
We are having a few difficulties with one of our well trucks and can't get it to start right now. David and the well crew had to tow the truck to a well drilling site yesterday, so they could begin to drill.
Please pray:
~ Things will go well as the teams minister to the Haitian people and that God will be glorified through their ministries.
~ Things will go smoothly with David and the well drilling crew.
Thank you!

Dear Faithful Partners,
Global Outreach Haïti Mission has been drilling water wells since 1993. To date we have drilled 187 wells to provide clean potable water to the people of Haïti. Our experience enables us to drill each well in a strategic area where we deem to have the greatest need.
Installing a pump on a new well. Throughout the years the India Mark II and Mark III pumps have been available to us from other well drillers or from organizations interested in providing clean water to the people of Haïti. In most cases we have purchased these pumps in quantities of 10 to 25 at a time. Due to the rising steel prices no one is importing pumps from India at this time. For Global Outreach Haïti to continue its well drilling program we will have to purchase pumps directly from the manufacturer in India and have them shipped to us in Haïti. For this to be feasible we will have to fill the 20ft container which will hold 75 complete pumps including pipe and rods for 200 ft wells . Also included in the container will be 50 spare pump heads, pump cylinder plus 500 repair kits.
Installing a pump on a new well.
We maintain all of our wells on emergency breakdown or on an every three month maintenance program. The total cost for the above pumps and parts is $48,657.00 . The shipping from India to Haïti is $4,500.00 plus Haïti customs estimated at $8,000.00 for a total cost of $61,157.00 We have already been joined by a partnering mission organization with a gift of $25,000 toward the purchase of these pumps leaving us needing $36, 157.00.
Here is how you can partner with us so that we can continue to drill wells and provide clean water for the Haitian people. There are approximately 1,500 people on our mailing list…if each person makes a contribution of $24 we could fund this project. We are inviting each of you to PRAYERFULLY consider your part. Please use this opportunity to invite your friends, neighbors, Bible study groups, Sunday School classes, churches and organizations to be involved. We’ve accomplished a geat deal in the Kingdom’s work in our 25 years in Haïti but there is so much more to be done. To continue our work we need you to consider this request seriously by responding quickly and generously.
All contributions should be ear marked for « Haïti Pump Project ». We are enclosing a postage paid envelope to assist you . Global Outreach International, P.O. Box 1, Tupelo, MS 38802. You can go online (globaloutreach.org) click on donation and give with your credit card or you can do an electronic transfer.
